  • …I must protest when Barack Obama claims that people are going bankrupt because of health expenses.  There is no evidence to suggest that this is a widespread phenomenon.

Debate video: Obama can’t remember the soldier’s name on his bracelet at Michelle Malkin.

  • Barack Obama’s cringe-inducing “Me, too” moment with his troop bracelet –given to him by the mother of a soldier whose name he can’t remember without having to look down and read it. The name of the soldier is Ryan David Jopek.

McCain Warned About Housing Problems in 2005

Reviewed in a previous post.  Definitely worth repeating.  John McCain foretold the problems of today’s economy in 2005.

In 2005-6, the U.S. Congress was apprised how Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were failing, and were implored by Senator John McCain to do something about it, but the Democrat controlled Congress did not. The matter died in Congressional committee.  It was called the “Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005,” and was sponsored by Sen. Charles Hagel [R-NE], and cosponsors Sen.
