An October surprise?  If the privilege to vote is something you respect and hold dear, then this will make you wonder how come that civics lesson, from as far back as elementary school, was so casually dismissed by some people.  The Times in Munster, Indiana brings us the story County rejects large number of invalid voter registrations. Guess the nay-sayers walked away with a different take on this Vice Presidential debate.  Some were saying that Governor Sarah Palin would not be able to hold her own up against the older and more formidable Senator Joe Biden.  Never underestimate your opponent. (more…)

Shady $200 Million Obama Pocket Change

Seems the Federal Elections Commission, the FBI, and the Department of Justice have been dragging their feet, hemming and hawing, about investigating approximately $200,000,000 campaign donations to Senator Barack Obama.   Apparently, an unnamed auditor who has been having a heck of a time trying to get his/her superiors to jump start a looksy into the matter, are afraid of giving the impression that a criminal act has occurred.  Yes, an investigation can smack of the appearance some shady stuff has gone down.  What with this just being just a mere month before the elections and all.  Yup.  That could make some people look pretty bad.  But looking means nothing.
