The third and final presidential debate with Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama concluded October 15, 2008.   Looks like McCain had some of those Kick Butt Hot Drops!  Cut to the chase and check out some of the views across America.

CBS News.  Tired of hearing Obama beat the dead horse over and over again?  You were not disappointed as he continued to attack McCain with the same tired approach.

“Sen. Obama, I am not President Bush,” he declared at another point. “If you wanted to run against President Bush, you should have run four years ago.”

CBS’s From The Road.

John McCain is not going down without a fight.

Gateway Pundit.

McCain brings up Joe the Plumber in Ohio who told Obama he was a socialist.
Joe the plumber was little more direct with Senator Obama than than McCain was.
But, it was good that McCain brought up the “spreading the wealth” argument.

Now McCain attacks Obama on “spreading the wealth around.”
Love it… McCain must have said “spread the wealth” 6 times in 3 minutes.

Oh my…The Far Left loon inside Obama speaks.
Obama just attacked FOX News again. That’s twice in one day.
Obama has FOX News on the brain.

McCain bashes Obama and Rep. John Lewis for comparing the McCain-Palin Campaign to the racist segregationist George Wallace.

Wow!McCain blasts Obama on his terrorist ties and ACORN!
Obama misrepresents his relationship with ACORN and justifies his relationship with Ayers.
Bob McCartysays “Obama gulped.”

I wanted to comment on someone else’s comment on the previous thread about McCain being on the hook for the “Kill him!” comment but when Barry was about to be held responsible for the “SARAH PALIN IS A CUNT” t-shirts the objections flew.

1) It was a Sarah Palin rally and she was talking about Bill Ayers when the ass in the crowd said “Kill him!”–thus, the ass in the crowd meant Kill Bill, not Kill Obama. Obama trying to push this meme is disgutingly deceitful.

2) NOBama NEVER wants to be held to anything his surrogates do, so did you notice how he completely avoided the question about John Lewis at first? McCain had to bring up that he heard no repudiation and even when Obama “did so”, he didn’t go so far as to repudiate John Lewis’s disgusting race baiting.

Confirmed: Secret Service: No One Shouted ‘Kill Him’ About Obama at Newsbusters.

I think McCain did very very well. Not as good as I expected in a lot of instances but good enough to get at least his point across. I would have liked a little stronger on the issue of filthiness against Sarah Palin and the issue of the t-shirts. But at least he got in the word t-shirt.

McCain did a very good contrast with BO, in simple terms and exposed him for what he is, an ultra left liberal that want to have his way with our money and our lives. McCain exposed BO as a controlling personality and exposed the Dem Congress as a dangerous institution willing to spend as much as they can get through legislation.

Thank God for McCain. I hope people can see through BO and run away from him. I hope so.

This picture here at Lynette Long should have been flashed when McCain mentioned the T-shirts, to give America a taste of the vulgarity of some of Obama’s supporters.

This collection of T shirts clearly demonstrates the disrespectful mentality of Obama supporters.

Dick Morris at Newsmax.

Morris: ‘I Love the Way McCain Handled Himself’.   Dick Morris says Obama might get an immediate bump from his polished debate performance, but McCain with his “Joe the Plumber” model has set up taxes as a populist issue — and a clear focus to take him to the finish line.

Newsmax.

McCain’s allegation that Obama had not leveled with the public involved the Democrat’s decision to forgo public financing for his campaign in favor of raising his own funds. As a result, he has far outraised McCain, although the difference has been somewhat neutralized by an advantage the Republican National Committee holds over the Democratic Party.

“He signed a piece of paper” earlier in the campaign pledging to accept federal financing, McCain said. He added that Obama’s campaign has spent more money than any since Watergate, a reference to President Nixon’s re-election, a campaign that later became synonymous with scandal.

Michelle Malkin Live Blogging.  For all the great hitting points McCain made, we see the McCain talking points that were missed.

ACORN’s Political Action Committee Endorsed Barack Obama For President. “[A]CORN’s political action committee endorsed Barack Obama for President. … The endorsement reflects a belief that Obama – who worked as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago – understands that change must come from the ground-up, as part of a working coalition, rather than from position papers.” (Katrina Vanden Heuvel, Op-Ed, “ACORN: Obama Gets It,” The Nation, 2/23/08)

Barack Obama’s Campaign “Paid More Than $800,000″ To ACORN For Get-Out-The Vote Efforts; The Campaign Originally “Misrepresented” The Group’s Work To The FEC. “U.S. Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign paid more than $800,000 to an offshoot of the liberal Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now for services the Democrat’s campaign says it mistakenly misrepresented in federal reports. An Obama spokesman said Federal Election Commission reports would be amended to show Citizens Services Inc. – a subsidiary of ACORN – worked in ‘get-out-the-vote’ projects, instead of activities such as polling, advance work and staging major events as stated in FEC finance reports filed during the primary.” (David M. Brown, “Obama To Amend Report On $800,000 In Spending,” Pittsburgh Tribune Review, 8/22/08)

Barack Obama Directed Project Vote And Later Taught Classes For “Future Leaders Identified By ACORN And The Centers For New Horizons.” “In 1992 Obama took time off to direct Project Vote, the most successful grass-roots voter-registration campaign in recent city history. Credited with helping elect Carol Moseley-Braun to the U.S. Senate, the registration drive, aimed primarily at African-Americans, added an estimated 125,000 voters to the voter rolls-even more than were registered during Harold Washington’s mayoral campaigns. ‘It’s a power thing,’ said the brochures and radio commercials. … Obama continues his organizing work largely through classes for future leaders identified by ACORN and the Centers for New Horizons on the south side.” (Hank De Zutter, Op-Ed, “What Makes Obama Run?” Chicago Reader, 12/8/95)

· In 1992, Barack Obama Was Hired By ACORN To Run A Voter Registration Effort. “Indeed, Mr. Obama has extensive connections with the granddaddy of activist groups, Acorn (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), which has gotten millions in government grants for its low-income housing programs. In 1992, Acorn hired Mr. Obama to run a voter registration effort. He later became a trainer for the group, as well as its lawyer in election law cases. Acorn’s political arm has endorsed Mr. Obama while its ‘voter education’ arm has pledged to spend $35 million to register people this fall – despite a history of vote fraud scandals that have led to guilty pleas by many Acorn employees.” (John Fund, “Obama’s Liberal Shock Troops,” The Wall Street Journal, 7/12/08)

Barack Obama Was Part Of Team Of Lawyers Who Represented ACORN In A Suit Against The State Of Illinois. “Obama was part of a team of attorneys who represented the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) in a lawsuit against the state of Illinois in 1995 for failing to implement a federal law designed to make it easier for the poor and others to register as voters.” (Mike Robinson, “Obama Got Start In Civil Rights Practice,” The Associated Press, 2/20/07)

ACORN Received Grants From The Woods Fund When Barack Obama Served on The Board Of Directors

· The Chicago ACORN Received Grants Of $45,000 (2000), $30,000 (2001), $45,000 (2001), $30,000 (2002), And $40,000 (2002) From The Woods Fund. (Donors Forum Website, ifs.donorsforum.org, Accessed 6/10/08)

· NOTE: From 1993 To 2002, Barack Obama Served On The Board Of Directors For The Woods Fund. (Tim Novak and Fran Spielman, “Obama Helped Ex-Boss Get $1 Mil. From Charity,” Chicago Sun-Times, 11/29/07)

Michelle Malkin Debate Wrap Up.

The best line of the night may have been unplanned (or maybe not)? In jabbing Obama’s spend-spend-spend plans, McCain called him “Senator Government.”

“Senator Government.”

It’s a fitting moniker for the Democrat candidate who spent the whole night talking about “investing” other people’s money. Perfect.
