It was just a matter of time. The Houston Chronicle reports The Salvation Army is revamping its Christmas tradition beyond ringing a bell and asking for donations. Now they will be accepting debit and credit cards along with spare change and bills to augment donations. The Salvation Army in El Paso County, Colorado will be trying the new method soon. So for those folks who don’t carry cash, just whip out the plastic and help fill the coffers of the Salvation Army this season!
