Baby Masai Giraffe Born In Rhode Island Zoo

See the new addition at the Roger Williams Zoo in Providence, Rhode Island.

Sukari and Griffin are two Masai giraffes that proudly welcomed their 5 foot 6 inch 90 pounder baby giraffe.

Trash Goes Down Along With Economy In Utah

And yet another indication that the economy is down.  Less trash.

The cold weather in St. George, Utah, coupled with less consumption and a downtrodden economy, means there is less trash to pick up.

A disappointing combination for the local trash collectors, considering their paycheck is based up tonnage picked up and number of houses/apartments serviced.

…tonnage is down about 10 to 15 percent for residential trash, which means the drivers are bringing home anywhere from $25 to $50 less per week.
