Driving While Breast Feeding Mom Charged

It is obvious the policeman involved in this story has not had to deal with a hungry tiny tike in need of his/her breast feeding.  Ohio police charge breast-feeding driver with child endangerment tells us about the woman who would not let her baby go hungry.  A caller spotted the woman and called in her license plate.

…the legal concern is that Compton had a child in her lap while driving, not that she was breast-feeding in public.

…the child was under two years old.

Police say the woman faces up to 180 days in jail and a $1,800 fine if convicted of the misdemeanour.

Nobody who heard him addressing a joint session of the House and Senate on Tuesday could doubt that Barack Obama can speak.

But increasingly the question being asked of the new President is: can he manage?

Hand Held Portable Toaster

That’s handy, the toaster you can take to work with you at the Daily Mail.  We now have the capability of making toast at work.  That special sandwich that just doesn’t fly with regular bread, can now be had at your workplace after all.  With this handy little ceramic one side toast it at a time device.  As the bread reaches its perfect golden color signaling it is ready, the ceramic cake knife-like blade turns into butterflies and flowers.   A slow, spreading motion over the bread is used to achieve that perfect toasted quality.

Enjoy.

Loose Lips God Remark At MSNBC

MSNBC utters a remark not expected to be heard round the world.

Silence is golden would be an excellent lesson for the blasphemous loose lips.

The loose lips owner needs a visit with their clergy to relearn the appropriateness of that type of remark.

Bobby Jindal’s rebuttal for the Republicans, on the Democratic platform, was stiff, but within the purview of the Republicans.

Republican Response to Pres. Obama Address to Congress

Update.

Chris Mathews admits to making the statement, “Oh God,” as Jindal was about to make his speech.  He claims it was in reference to an “odd anti-bellum look” of the scene.

Not believable.

Denver Catholic bishop utters the words of caution that have been pulsating in America for a long time.

Interesting, since the church tends to refrain from direct politics.

Catholic News Agency.

Canadians packed St. Basil’s Church in Toronto on Monday evening to hear Archbishop Charles Chaput speak about how Catholics should live out their faith in the public square. He warned that in the U.S., Catholics need to act on their faith and be on guard against “a spirit of adulation bordering on servility” that exists towards the Obama administration.

The public lecture by Archbishop Chaput took place on the campus of the University of Toronto at St. Basil’s Church and was attended by an overflow crowd of more than 700 people.
