Bernoulli Numbers Problem Solved After 300 Years

Teenager Solves 300-Year-Old Math Problem In Sweden at Chattahbox. 

More power to this sharp dude from Sweden.  This guy is only 16 years old!

Iraq-born Mohamed Altoumaimi found a formula to prove and simplify ‘Bernoulli numbers’, a sequence of calculations named after the 17th century Swiss mathematician Jacob Bernoulli.

Turmeric Found To Keep The Fat Off

Turmeric Spice May Help To Block Body Fat From Spreading  at Chattahbox brings us some particularly interesting findings from the USDA Agricultural Research Service. 

The study.  Two sets of mice were fed similar high fat diets, but only set was given a tiny turmeric supplement.  Voila!  The turmeric supplemented group was the one that did not gain weight, whereas the other ballooned up.

Although the study has only been done in mice so far, the reuslts have been enough to trigger new studies in humans. 

Now wouldn’t it be fantastic if something so simple as adding a little spice of Turmeric in your life could keep those extra pounds of fat off your body and away from your precious arteries?

American Flag Removed After Worker Complains

There always seems to be someone around that wants to tread on America and the freedom and richness of what it represents.  It certainly is an enigma why someone would take offense at the placement of the American flag at a work place.  If it is not in the way of carrying on business, it seems hard to imagine why its mere presence would offend someone to the point of complaining to a supervisor to have it removed.  It is just as puzzling why a supervisor would have acquiesced to that sort of complaint.

That is exactly what occurred at Kindred Hospital in Mansfield, Texas outside of Dallas this past Memorial Day holiday.
