Flag Day in the U.S.A. is a day to honor the adoption of the American flag by the Second Continental Congress in 1777. Many will relate to today as “Flag Birthday.”
The History Of Flag Day also brings the rich history of the creation and evolution of America’s flag alive. It was Woodrow Wilson in 1916 and then Congress in 1949, that made the Flag day official.
And it was Betsy Ross, a struggling widow, who started it all when she created the first flag in 1776.
