Sounding the alarms for America is Michael Steele, RNC chairman: Obama’s health care is socialism. The current bill up for scrutiny, America’s Affordable Health Choices Act 2009, appears to be generating much controversy and concern that the wool is being pulled over America’s eyes, by Mr. Barack Obama and Democrats intent on ramming their agenda past the public. Another one of the president’s manufactured crises with a manufactured solution to bolster his manufactured place in the history.
Perhaps this is because the bill is fraught with severely high and debilitating costs and slick maneuvering of government control of the health care between your doctor and you. After all, once the government underbids any remaining insurance companies, none will be left to do any business. Government will become the sole health care payor, and hence the driving force in managing your health care. Down to the penny. All in the name of reining in costs. But at what price? WSJ.
Democrats also know that the public option will try to control health spending by squeezing payments made to doctors and hospitals, and by not paying for treatments that Washington decides are too expensive, which will result in inferior care.
Funny how the government option is being pushed through with a bulldozer onto unsuspecting Americans.
But the legislators certainly know a shady deal when they see one. And that is why they are not buying it. WSJ calls the bluff.
Senators prefer the insurance they have.
TD called it as it is. Shocker: Public Plan for the Masses Not Good Enough for Senators & Their Kids.
Democratic Senators voted against a proposed Amendment that would require them and their families to join the public plan which Obama wants to impose on the rest of us.
Even Senator Judd Greg is appalled.
“…the public option “will be so bad that I don’t think anyone should be forced to join.”
Odd how Washington, D.C. elite never learned about the old saying, ”treat others as your would treat yourself”.
Health care management belongs in the health care arena. Leave it to the pros, Washington.
Grand Experiment
