Animals can be quite adept about addressing their needs.  Here we have a cat who is actually not averse to the water from a bathtub faucet, and a Mastiff who has mastered using the refrigerator water spout.

Siren-Shaking Drivers Into Attention

Emergency vehicles often must maneuver through tight traffic in their mission to attend to their responsibilities.  It must be frustrating when drivers fail to yield.  But the UK has found a solution to those drivers who are too busy enjoying their driving moment and fail to acquaint themselves with their surroundings and the emergency vehicles with their lights and sirens alerting all around to their quest.

Sirens to shake drivers with vibrations at the UK Metro.  Double subwoofers to shake the hearing and visually impaired into attention.

The vibrations are so severe it is enough to shock dozy drivers, who are often too engrossed in the music on their stereos, into moving over.
