So went the much anticipated beer summit at the White House between Sargeant James Crowley, Professor Henry Gates, and President Barack Obama. Crowley, the arresting police officer. Gates, the arrested for disorderly conduct, and Obama, the President who spoke before informing himself of the facts surrounding the case saying the Cambridge police “acted stupidly.” Vice President Joe Biden had to tag along to indulge in some non-alcoholic brew.

Were frazzled feelings addressed? Or were appearances assuaged?
