Health Care Bill Exam Fails Public Scrutiny

If the health care bill currently being tossed around serves any purpose, then

  1. take a huge breath and bear down as the cartoon character in Michael Ramirez‘s editorial at IBD may be about to say,
  2. have a good laugh at the comedic streak offered by the commenters at Hot Air, and
  3. distill the report Poll: Public losing trust in President Obama – Andy Barr – POLITICO.com.

Health Care Experiment For The Masses, Not The Senators

Sounding the alarms for America is Michael Steele, RNC chairman: Obama’s health care is socialism.  The current bill up for scrutiny, America’s Affordable Health Choices Act 2009, appears to be generating much controversy and concern that the wool is being pulled over America’s eyes, by Mr. Barack Obama and Democrats intent on ramming their agenda past the public.  Another one of the president’s manufactured crises with a manufactured solution to bolster his manufactured place in the history.

Perhaps this is because the bill is fraught with severely high and debilitating costs and slick maneuvering of government control of the health care between your doctor and you.  After all, once the government underbids any remaining insurance companies, none will be left to do any business.  Government will become the sole health care payor, and hence the driving force in managing your health care.  Down to the penny.  All in the name of reining in costs.  But at what price?  WSJ.

It’s true.  The Weinermobile required some help getting extracted from a tight spot.

See the video at Oscar Mayer Wienermobile loses control, crashes into Racine home – Driver accidentally hit the gas instead of brakes, lost control and crashed into home.

The Wienermobile was taken from the scene by tow truck.

The homeowner was recently dropped by her insurance company, and hopes Kraft Foods will cover the damage.  However, the driver of the weinermobile did not leave any contact information.

Turns out, Kraft will cover damage costs.

Governors See America’s Unaffordable Health Choices Act

Not all is well in Obamaville.  America’s Affordable Health Choices Act 2009 seems to be causing more angst.

Now the Governors Fear Medicaid Costs in Health Plan at NYT.  Seems like the Governors are catching wind that the pricey health care for everyone will mean some increased costs at the state level.  Something very difficult to manage during these tough economic times.

Samuel Adams And The Duty To Defend The United States

Quote of the day.

Samuel Adams, the Massachusetts representative of the Continental Congress and one of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence,  had the correct concept of the defense of the United States.

The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending against all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks.

Psychiatric Warnings About Singulair, Accolate, And Zyflo

It is interesting how some drugs come onto the market after extensive testing for years, yet some side effects do not manifest in their safety studies.  It is not until they have been released and used in the general population in numbers far greater than their initial studies, that some side effects become known.

Singulair has been a great medication to asthma sufferers.   Accolate and Zyflo have also become important in the management of asthma.

But the FDA now has some important news via My Way
