Seems like ACORN, the self-proclaimed nonpartisan ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), has some explaining to do. The hidden videocam sting operation that occurred in ACORN offices in Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and New York, was a shocker. Prostitution, tax evasion, and child sexploitation are definitely not endearing to most people, particularly because of the illegal nature. But what is one to think of ACORN when office after office, in state after state, workers readily offer up advice on those illegal activities? And what is the taxpayer to think about their hard earned tax dollars going to support such organizations. And what are people to think when the President of the United States cut his teeth working with ACORN fresh out of law school? But most important, what are people to think when a complex web of ties between ACORN and Barack Obama are exposed?
