An Inside View On The Man Who Favors Campaigning

White House Insider on Obama: “the President is Losing It.”  Newsflavor.

An interview with a former insider in the Obama White House, on yours truly, President Barack Obama.  The insider remains anonymous, but if the revelations are true, then there certainly is a quite a bit to digest.  The entire post is well worth reading, even though much if not all, has already been gleaned along the way over the last few years, about the man who favors campaigning.

But would another four years of an Obama presidency be the best thing for America? (Long pause) Now that is a much more interesting question right there, and a question I think more and more Democrat Party insiders are asking themselves these days, myself included. I am going to come right out and say it – No. Obama is not up to the job of being president. He simply doesn’t seem to care about the work involved. You want to know what? Obama is lazy. He really is. And it is getting worse and worse. Would another four years of Obama be the best thing for America? No it would not. What this country needs is a president who is focused on the job more than on themselves. Obama is not that individual. I actually hope he doesn’t run again. Looking back, as much fun as the campaign in 2008 was, Hillary Clinton should have been the nominee. Hillary was ready to be president. Obama was not ready. He had never lost a campaign. Everything was handed to him. He doesn’t really understand the idea of work – real, hard, get your heart and soul into it work. And frankly, that is very disappointing to a whole lot of us…

More here.  Now if the insider were only unmasked, it might lend some legitimacy to the interview.  As such, the responses are interesting and appear to repeat what has been oft heard in conversations across America already.

Health Care Reform Lining Up To Cost You More And Deliver Less

ATLAS: Obamacare: The sequel.  WT.

The harsh realities are beginning to gel.

In this waning phase of Democratic domination, what might we expect as last-gasp overreaches in health care?Watch for an overt use of brute force by the federal government to eliminate the viability of private health insurance.

Watch for a new “public option” to be introduced after the massive shift of Americans into existing government insurance to further crowd out private insurance, as Democrats do their best to forge a single-payer, wholly government- controlled system.

Watch for the federal government to restrict doctors from practicing, or possibly even criminalize them, unless they accept patients with insurance paying government-defined rates for medical tests and treatments.

It’s looking ugly.  For everyone.  Doctors and patients alike.  Doctors because they will be forced to accept paltry reimbursements that currently do not even allow them to meet overhead, and patients who will be forced to accept rationed care despite whatever insurance premiums cost.  Not to mention the higher costs and taxes businesses will be paying to fund Obamacare, that will inevitably be passed on to you the consumer.  Everyone will be paying more for less.

Unless current Democratic majorities in Congress are voted out in November 2010 elections, expect Obamacare to intimately affect your pocketbook and your most personal issues with your physician.

Democrats Flee From Health Care Reform

As of September 14, 2010, 45% Expect To Pay More for Health Care A Year From Now.  Rasmussen.

Why so glum?  Maybe because some heard how Gangster Government Goes After Obamacare Critics.  NRO.  Critics will not be tolerated, and will be shut out from the health care insurance business circle, if they don’t clam up, and start towing the force-fed line.

Or, CTNow news that Health Insurers Seeking Rate Hikes Of More Than 20 Percent In Connecticut.  No one has spare change these days, let alone the proposed 20 per cent more to pay for health insurance.

On Obamacare, Wilson was rude but right.  The Detroit News.

The president, who told Congress and the American people his bill would, “slow the growth of health care costs for our families, our businesses, and our government,” now admits this isn’t true.

Nearly all of the promises the president made in advance of Obamacare’s passage are unraveling.

And now, Rep. Taylor becomes first Dem to back repealing health reform.  The Hill. He did not support it the first time, and wants to make sure he throws his hat into the repeal ring early on.  Before anyone tags him as otherwise.

Then there is the safety net for some incumbents running to save their jobs, Democrats run away from health care.  Politico.  Attempting to distance themselves from the fiasco they very much helped to create, will still not sit well with voters.

Rep. Joe Wilson shouted out, “You lie!” for a reason.   How prescient it could have been had America listened and acted on his retort.

Philly Sophomore Rides Horse To School

Imagine using a horse to get to school.  The Haverford School has one such student who utilizes this mode of transportation from yesteryear.  And it works just fine.

Roby Bruch, a sophomore at The Haverford School, doesn’t take the bus to school or hitch a ride with a friend who drives. No, he rides his horse Jet through the tony suburbs of Philadelphia.

Tea Party Will Assemble In Town Square On Constitution Day

Tea Party Wins Fight to Mark Constitution Day in Public Square.  Fox.

Here’s to the people in Andover Township, Ohio, who stuck to the principles in the U.S. Constitution, to enable their celebration of Constitution Day in the public square.  The local government rescinded their original approval because they believed it would be too political.  A judge ordered a temporary injunction that will allow the celebration until the final decision is made.

“The First Amendment clearly protects the right to gather on the public square, speak out in support of limited constitutional government, and critique the current state of affairs,” 1851 Center Executive Director Maurice Thompson said. “The townships’ self-aggrandizing authority to pick and choose who may speak, based upon whether they approve of the speaker’s message, is entirely unconstitutional.”

 Constitution Day.

Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by thirty-nine brave men on September 17, 1787, recognizing all who, are born in the U.S.
or by naturalization, have become citizens.

McDonald’s Recycles A Burger

McDonald’s Serves Customer A Used Burger.  The Consumerist.

As in someone snatched a bite, and then returned it to the burger box to be sold again.

According to a local news report, the customer and his wife purchased a pair of angus burgers at a McDonald’s drive-thru. But when he opened up his burger box, he saw he’d been served a cold sandwich with a big chunk missing from it.

So he went back to the McDonald’s and spoke to the manager, who he says told him, “I’d like to go into the kitchen and find out who did this and talk to him.”

The customer says the manager then confessed that his burger had previously been sold and returned by an unhappy customer earlier in the day. The manager apologized for the error.

An honest answer.  But why wasn’t the burger tossed out to begin with?

The McDonald’s manager at the involved restaurant in Eureka Springs, Arkansas restaurant responds.  Not lovin’It.

When asked if returned food was immediately thrown away, she answered, “That is our policy.”

Brothel Approached By Union Worker

Joke of the day.

Also found at VFWWebcom.

A dedicated Teamsters union worker was attending a convention in Las Vegas and decided to check out the local brothels.

When he got to the first one, he asked the Madam, “Is this a union house?”

“No ,’”she replied, “I’m sorry it isn’t.”

“Well, if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?”

“The house gets $80 and the girls get $20,’”she answered.

Offended at such unfair dealings, the union man stomped off down the street in search of a more equitable, hopefully unionized shop. His search continued until finally he reached a brothel where the Madam responded, “Why yes sir, this is a union house. We observe all union rules.”

The man asked, “And, if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?”

“The girls get $80 and the house gets $20.”

“That’s more like it!” the union man said.

He handed the Madam $100, looked around the room, and pointed to a stunningly attractive green-eyed blonde.

“I’d like her,” he said.

“I’m sure you would, sir,” said the Madam.

Then she gestured to a 92-year old woman in the corner,

“but Ethel here has 67 years seniority and according to union rules, she’s next.’”
