Voting Tales From The Crypt

Looks like some voters are being roused from the grave to the voting booth.

Obama Continues To Spread The Wealth

KNIGHT: Pulling back the curtain on Obama’s audacity.  WT.

Proverbs 16:18 says, “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

Arugula.  NYT.

“Anybody gone into Whole Foods lately and see what they charge for arugula?” the senator said. “I mean, they’re charging a lot of money for this stuff.”

The state of Iowa, for all of its vast food production, does not have a Whole Foods, a leading natural and organic foods market.

Wagyu steak.  MM.

Yeah, “wagyu steak.” $100 per serving delicacy. I had to look it up, too.

On the heels of the most expensive inaugural celebration in American history and passage of a trillion-dollar spending binge that will saddle future generations with unprecedented debt, perhaps President Obama might consider cutting back on such indulgences.

Obama’s vacations.  AT.  Broadway, NYC.   Yellowstone.  Martha’s Vineyard.  Bar Harbor, Maine, where the family dog Bo flew in on a separate jet. Hawaii.  Chicago.   Missed Memorial Day at Arlington to go to Chicago.   Got in lots of golfing too.  And of course, many White House parties.

Money does not grow on trees.  People are tightening the purse strings in response to a tough economy.  Now they are starting to realize that maybe elected officials are doing things that are not helping the average American.    But instead of owning up, blaming others becomes fashionable.

“People out there are still hurting very badly, and they are still scared. And so part of the reason that our politics seems so tough right now, and facts and science and argument does not seem to be winning the day all the time, is because we’re hard-wired not to always think clearly when we’re scared.”

“punish our enemies.”

Remember ‘Spread the Wealth’?.  ABC Political Punch.

I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

Ironically.

I’m still gonna be working hard on your behalf, because small businesses are what creates jobs in this country and I want to encourage it.”

Indeed, Obama is practicing what he preaches.  Spreading everyone else’s wealth around.  As his cast of minions once supportive, begin to fall by the wayside.  Taxes rise for small businesses and others.
