Spread The Wealth Repudiated After November 2010 Election

Reid and Pelosi finally get mugged by public opinion.  WE.

Candidate Obama told Joe the Plumber that he wanted to “spread the wealth around.” November’s vote, presaged by more than a year of polls, was, as political scientist James Ceasar has written, “the Great Repudiation” of that policy.

So far, the Democrats in a lame duck Congress, along with their leader in the executive branch, have refused to pay heed to the will of the people.

The turnover of control in the House to the Republicans will hopefully serve as a reminder, that Americans are in no mood for “spreading the wealth.”

  1. Pelosi, Reid and the rest of those Bozo’s in the 111th Congress will remain clueless to the wants and needs of the American people because they don’t give a damn about them. The only time those on Capitol Hill care about “Americans” is when they campaign for office, once in office, they do what’s best for them.

  2. The lame duck Congress will sure go down in history for being so self-centered and self-serving. If they really cared about what Americans want, they would not be doing an of what they have been doing right now with all the bills they are feverishly passing. Just like last Christmas Eve, when they passed Obamacare in the middle of the night. So no one could bother to see what they were up to.
