If the TSA made a woman take out her nipple rings with pliers, then it does not seem far fetched that the TSA would have one submit for an oral extraction of these uvula rings.

Oh geez! Gross!
I did have the pleasure of going through airport security flying round trip from Maryland to Boston last month. Maryland/Washington DC security wasn’t all that tight. We were running very late for our flight (thanks to my daughter) and had to ask others standing in line if we could get in front of them (everyone was great and we went right to the front of the line) and we just had to submit to the usual lap top in the bin with shoes and coats. I mean we just RAN through security and not one agent seemed in the least bit concerned.
On the other hand, in Boston, the security was tighter and my daughter ended up having to get the pat down because she forgot to take the change out of her pocket and it set off the alarms. The pat down wasn’t nearly as bad as what I’ve seen on YouTube on the internet. They didn’t grope her or stick their hands in her pants…just a simple pat down. I did have to go through the scanner and do the x-ray thingy…it wasn’t that big of a deal.
