  1. As they used to say back from whence I cometh – way back yonder in the long, lost ancient times when kindle evoked the act of making fire – when you ain’t got nothin’ then you don’t miss nothin’ when its gone. In other words, sometimes it was just nice to sit around the fire and talk. Ya know, like folks used to be back befo’ they done got all crazy like they izzens today and worshiping the golden calf of technology.

I’m totally with the sun on this one. This is funny. Shedding light on it all is, well, darn near like kindling. (Is that like, buying a computer?)

Garbage in. Garbage out. And the world will go on without us…

  2. “The golden calf of technology.” The Sun requests the honour of your presence during the daytime, for all activities as experienced in times past during daylight hours, that do not consume all energy, attention, and devotion, for the purpose of savoring, the simple life.

Funny how comps have sidetracked everyone. The simple pleasure of savoring moments outdoors, embraced by nature’s enthralling expanse of beauty, have been diminished by things insignificant in comparison, attached to electrical outlets. But only by those who allow it.
