Parents fight to evict 41-year-old son. Stylist.uk.co.
Think this guy is a basement dweller in the United States? A likely thought given the number of people still living at home in this country. Great Recession yields a lost generation of workers. MSNBC.
Opting to stay put, roughly 5.9 million Americans 25-34 last year lived with their parents, an increase of 25 percent from before the recession. Driven by a record 1 in 5 young men who doubled up in households, men are now nearly twice as likely as women to live with their parents.
But no. This fellow lives with mammina and paparino in Venice.
”My wife is suffering from stress and had to be hospitalised. He [the son] has a good job but still lives at home,” the father is quoted as saying. “He demands that his clothes be washed and ironed and his meals prepared. He really has no intention of leaving.”
The parents have now approached the legal department of a consumer association, ADICO, for help in getting their son to fly the nest.
One must wonder the extremes the 41-year old spawn drove his parents, to cause them to enlist the help of the government to help overcome his twenty year”failure to launch.”
Who do parents call in this country when faced with the same dilemma?
