YUCK! HATE spiders! Hate them! And living in an OLD house- we have spiders galore.
Mom gave me a book when I was a kid- a story about St Therese of the Child Jesus. One of the bits that stuck with me was about how she did not like spiders either but captured them and set them loose outside. Always made me feel like I was a horrible sinner for hating the things and killing them.
But then- we all know I am NOT up for sainthood lol
Yeah, it is a kindly thing to capture the errant insects and toss them back out where they reside normally (or at least should live). Where you cannot see them. They are God’s creatures too, after all.
But one must be brave enough, and the creeped-out factor low enough, to compassionately set them on their way. Outside.
Why they insist on coming inside is beyond me- we have ten acres here- they are free to roam out there. And of course they are welcome in the garden. If I could find a spider that ate slugs and japanese beetles I would build habitats! lol
Well PMM, it appears those spides want to cozy up to YOU indoors. While you are relaxing.
Make a little mini-me-home, with a loom, and set them spinning in there.
