$32 Million Lawsuit For Protecting Own Property Against Illegal Aliens

What would you do if your property was being repeatedly used as a gateway for illegal aliens trespassing and damaging your property en route to elsewhere?  Since 1988?

The property owner is getting sued by 16 Mexican nationals who say THEIR civil rights were violated by the gun toting owner who was out protecting his 22,000 acre ranch.  Frustrated with the increased traffic through his property when the U.S. Border Patrol began cracking down on illegal aliens, they instead wandered more peripheral to areas being policed, and right through the ranch.

The result:

they started to vandalize his property, northeast of Douglas along Arizona Highway 80. He said the immigrants tore up water pumps, killed calves, destroyed fences and gates, stole trucks and broke into his home.

Here is what rancher Roger Barnett age 64 had to say about the federal $32 million lawsuit against him and others.

“This is my land. I´m the victim here,” Mr. Barnett said. “When someone´s home and loved ones are in jeopardy and the government seemingly can´t do anything about it, I feel justified in taking matters into my own hands. And I always watch my back.”

The fact he has rounded up himself some 12,000 illegal aliens on his property alone since 1988 gives an idea of this man’s frustrations.

Hot Air.

Is there really a jury anywhere in America east of California and west of New York willing to find this guy liable?

What is a property owner to do when his own government stops serving on his behalf, and with the other hand, starts defending those who are violating his rights?
