Anti-Discrimination Vintage PSA

An interesting public service announcement that still rings true today.  The PSA is about 40 to 50 years old.  The message is still crystal clear.

40’s TV: Anti-Racism PSA from The DuMont Network (1949) (REAL)

  1. Wouldn’t it be nice to continue showing that on TV?

The biggest problem we have now is that the small radical black community is making it almost impossible for the rest of the black community to cement race relations. In fact, we were well on our way in doing just that before Obama became President and brought in his radical friends from the “New Black Panther” movement.

No one wants to shake hands and be friends with a group that calls you a cracker and espouses that they want to kill us and our babies. Why aren’t the average black community shouting these radicals down instead of remaining silent while they undo all the progress made in the last 50 or more years?

  2. The old saying goes something like, “you are either part of the solution, or part of the problem.” Tacitly watching fellow brethren tear down what took sooooooooo long to heal, is just as much part of the problem. Deeply sad, yet highly reflective on the motivations of those who are working on weakening the fabric of the U.S. as a whole.
