Dwarf Bullfighters In Mexico

Dwarf bullfighting?  Hmmm.  Is that even a politically correct term?

In Spanish, “Enanitos Toreros” means “Dwarf Bullfighters.”  They certainly have no problems at all with the term dwarf in Spanish.  A professional group who make a living entertaining others with their bullfighting skills.  Click here for image gallery.  Metro.

Dwarf bullfighter Osvaldo Hernandez from Los Enanitos Toreros (Dwarf Bullfighters) is tackled by a calf in Cancun May 29, 2011. The Enanitos Toreros are a group of six comedians from Yucatan who travel across Mexico entertaining audiences and carrying on a tradition born in Spain along with regular bullfighting. “Little people,” as some prefer to be called, have been entertainers for centuries, being excluded by discrimination or their height handicap from many everyday professions. Unlike traditional bullfights, the animals are not harmed. Calves are used instead of full-size bulls.
