Here is my toe all fucked up! It was crushed under the falling pressure of a 55 pound dumbbell.
Went to the hospital where they proceeded to freeze it. ( a needle went between my big toe and index toe in the webbing, as well as under, on top and to the side of my big toe.) After letting the freezing settle in the Doctor took a pair of scissors and shoved them under my nail to release the pressure. While the closed pair of scissors where under my nail he opened them to cut all the connective tissues that hold your nail to your toe. Finally he slides my toe nail as a whole out of its bed with a pair of tweezers inspects my toe and then slides it back into the hole it came from. My toe was so shattered that leaving the dead toe nail in would help keep my toes “natural” shape.
