A Neuron Undergoes Death

Pyknosis.  Pyknosis, or karyopyknosis, is the irreversible condensation of chromatin in the nucleus of a cell undergoing necrosis[1] or apoptosis. It is followed by karyorrhexis, or fragmentation of the nucleus.  Wikipedia.
