TSA is fast becoming a national pariah for government run amok. Is it so bad to be irradiated to ascertain you do not carry any no-no’s on board? Or to be touched in your private special places?
TSA pulls a 71-year old man’s pants down in full public view despite him previously alerting them his artificial knee always triggers the metal detector. A TSA agent yells at him, “I have power! I have power! I have power” This when he complains and would like a supervisor.
Intimidation! By a government employee with a recently bestowed inflated ego.
So why harass a cancer-surviving teenager with a prosthetic leg, even when she declares the metal detector will set off the alarm beforehand? Ahh, make her take her pants off and pat her down. Show her who’s boss.
Slam women to the ground for a complaint? Yes. Happened. Watch the video.
Nipple rings. Some weapon there TSA. The rationale about safety is distant. Oh wait. Could there be bodily secretions on them that could be passed on to another human?!? Bet there were plenty of satiating glimpses as they were being cut off.
Looks like TSA has been given plenty of latitude and discretion in how they harass travelers.
All in the name of their job, of course.
Will they be playing doctors next?

These are not the behaviors of agents looking for terrorists and explosives. These are agents indulging in self-gratification and power trips, actively encouraged by superiors.

American Narcissus. WS.
A whoppingly excellent piece on the narcissistic ego of Barack Obama. A must read.
Why has Barack Obama failed so spectacularly?
…Obama’s vanity is overwhelming.
People have been noticing Obama’s vanity for a long time. In 2008, one of his Harvard Law classmates, the entertainment lawyer Jackie Fuchs, explained what Obama was like during his school days: “One of our classmates once famously noted that you could judge just how pretentious someone’s remarks in class were by how high they ranked on the ‘Obamanometer,’ a term that lasted far longer than our time at law school. Obama didn’t just share in class—he pontificated. He knew better than everyone else in the room, including the teachers. ”
Example after example, straightforward and piercing. When someone thinks they know better than everyone else, when someone believes their judgment and intervention reign supreme, the signs are clear and point to someone who is clearly delusional about themselves and their self-importance. They should not be given positions where their warped perceptions impact a nation and the world.
A little reference to narcissistic disorder from the Mayo Clinic. Personality features are not a problem until they become pathological.
a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration.
The Weekly Standard’s post is ripe with examples.
He still doesn’t get it. A.B. Stoddard at The Hill noticed too. In denial .
President Obama is still in denial.
All Obama has to say is “I get it.” But he hasn’t, and maybe he can’t.
I think that, over the course of two years we were so busy and so focused on getting a bunch of stuff done that, we stopped paying attention to the fact that leadership isn’t just legislation. That it’s a matter of persuading people. And giving them confidence and bringing them together. And setting a tone,”
“…getting a bunch of stuff done…” is quite reflective on his legislative priorities.
“…we stopped paying attention…” says a lot about how out of touch he and his supporters are in the grand scheme of America. They have never been in touch actually.
“…a matter of persuading people” says America must be out of it’s mind if it cannot appreciate the magnificence of the Democratic agenda, and what Obama wishes to bequeath upon the masses. Persuasion comes easily to those who have a just and right product, but not so much for those who are peddling toxicity. The historical grandeur of the end product of Chicago thuggery is just too rich for all the simpletons of America.
“And giving them confidence and bringing them together.” As if the American people are clueless about their reasoning, comprehension, and judgment on legislation and policies that directly affect them. Quite an affront on citizen intelligence and reasoning.
Chutzpah! This fellow demonstrates quite the epitome of arrogance and spin. Refusing to acknowledge that America knows the Democratic policies and agenda are poisonous and disastrous to the average citizen, and then claiming the people are the problem, only continues to portray him and his legislative accomplices as removed and above the fray of the swell.
Newsflash! Voters have sent a message loud and clear. A vote for the Republicans was a vote AGAINST the Democrats, their policies, agenda, and plans. Spinning it any other way only serves to further inflame rationale Americans that will serve only to further erode any stand Democrats have in the future.

Last January, retiring Arkansas Democratic Rep. Marion Berry told the Arkansas Democrat Gazette that he worried about overconfidence in the White House regarding their prospects for avoiding a midterm election blowout.
“The president himself, when that was brought up in one group, said, ‘Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me,'” Berry said. “We’re going to see how much difference that makes now.”
An attitude of supreme arrogance has been visible at every moment . When the situation started to press, it surfaced in your face.
Perhaps Obama’s most difficult comment to live down will turn out to be the ones he made on a radio show last week, in which he suggested that Latinos should be inspired on Election Day to “punish” their “enemies,” a poor choice of words, which presumptive incoming Republican Speaker John Boehner seized upon in last-minute appearances around the country.
“Sadly, we have a president who uses the word ‘enemy’ for fellow Americans, fellow citizens,” Boehner said at an Ohio rally on Monday. “He used it for people who disagree with his agenda of bigger government.”
Americans are smart enough to pick up condescension, confrontation, and disrespect. A politician who speaks to those he represents in such a way, loses even the remotest credibility. Fast.
Just another one of the multitude of reasons the President and his fellow Democrats are meeting with the mid term election reality.
Election Day is coming up November 2, 2010. Pay attention to who you support in the voting booth The video shows those who were elected before, and their proud service in office captured for all to see.
Remember the arrogance.
Remember the disrespect.
Remember the ignorance.
Remember in November.

And yet another hit piece on health care reform, and the debacle that continues to plague the Democrats as much as its creator and number one pusher, President Barack Obama. There are several reasons voters are in an uproar. The costs both direct and indirect, are daunting. Very simply put, it gets personal. A patronizing attitude to try to assuage the public and portray it as benign, smacks of contempt for the intelligence of America.
Just the other day in Iowa, during yet another tedious “backyard discussion,” Obama felt compelled to condescendingly remind a concerned voter that “there’s nothing in the bill that says you have to change the health insurance you’ve got right now.” Who’s he kidding? Voters understand that any piece of legislation has unintended consequences. And one consequence of Obamacare will be to force changes in people’s health insurance, even if they are happy with what they have now.
Pay attention, class: The central piece of Barack Obama’s presidency is a law that was passed by a narrow partisan margin over a public outcry—a law that increases dependency on government and will do untold damage to American health care. Repeal of that law will presumably require a Republican president in addition to a Republican Congress, so the homework assignment for 2013 is tough but worthwhile. Repeat after us: Don’t let Obamacare reach its third birthday.
Lest your health care become watered down, rationed, and more expensive.
Already, people are considering it seriously. Voters in 3 states to consider opting out of ‘Obamacare’. WT.
Not surprisingly, Vulnerable House Democrats run away from their party’s record. TH.
