Terrorists Eye Surgical Bomb Implants

People who have nothing better to do in their lives.

Terrorists ‘plan attack on Britain with bombs INSIDE their bodies’ to foil new airport scanners.  Daily Mail.

…male bombers would have the explosive secreted near their appendix or in their buttocks, while females would have the material placed inside their breasts in the same way as figure-enhancing implants.

Contents: PETN (Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate) surgically implanted.

Detonater: Injection of TATP (Triacetone Triperoxide) by syringe.

They will pretend they are injecting themselves with medication.

Idle hands are the workplace of the devil.

  1. I guess that problem could be solved by not allowing anyone to have a syringe on the plane.

Maybe they’re just spreading this story so they can frisk and x-ray women with big boobs. 😉

Honestly, I think it would have to be a major emergency for me to get on a plane again.

  2. It really puts diabetics in tough spot.

  3. thetowncrier- Couldn’t the diabetics leave their syringes with the flight attendant and in order for them to bring the syringes on the plane, they must have some kind of verification that they are diabetic? I’m sure there is some way around that problem.

Yeah, that is possible. More cumbersome lines and questions for those with real problems. But who is to say that a terrorist will not be able to get some document (forged?) that says they are diabetic or whatever? The lunacy is neverending.

  5. thetowncrier: Yeah, I thought of that, too. I guess they just may have to find a way to know what is actually in the syringe that the flight attendants are holding. I don’t know how they can do that…but like you said, the lunacy is never-ending.

  6. First thought, diabetics. Asses abound when it comes to their creative thinking.

  8. Great excuse to cop a feel. Why can’t we have what the Israelis have? Good ole behavior profiling?

  9. thetownecrier

Behavior profiling sounds like a great idea. Anyone acting along terrorist lines would raise attention and be suitably checked out further.
