Obama Health Care Gets Unlimited Access To IRS Tax Returns

Get ready for Obamacare to dig into your personal IRS returns.  That is to say, if you want to have Obamacare as your health care coverage.  Health care reform will give unlimited access to the Health Commissioner on the details of your IRS information.

Democratic Health Care Bill Divulges IRS Tax Data from CBS.  Ironic that CBS who has so far been in the tank for the Democratic president, is now exposing an ugly truth on the bill so highly touted by President Barack Obama and his supporters.

The House version of H.R.3200 America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 has many tiny details locked up in the more than 1,000 pages of the bill.   here.

Make no mistake.  Your IRS details will be open to the Obamacare people in order to determine eligibility.  It will be subject to privacy provisions however.  The ones that can be compromised whenever an employee with access wants to check on things beyond official purposes.  Kind of like when officials inappropriately accessed informationon “Joe the Plumber” Wurzelbacher.  The line items specify as follows.

Section 431(a) of the bill says that the IRS must divulge taxpayer identity information, including the filing status, the modified adjusted gross income, the number of dependents, and “other information as is prescribed by” regulation. That information will be provided to the new Health Choices Commissioner and state health programs and used to determine who qualifies for “affordability credits.”

Section 245(b)(2)(A) says the IRS must divulge tax return details — there’s no specified limit on what’s available or unavailable — to the Health Choices Commissioner. The purpose, again, is to verify “affordability credits.”

The government delving more and more into personal things, just like it  the recent announcement that Obamacare will have access to your personal banking information.  KFYI. 

Section 163 of the bill states that the government would be allowed real-time access to a person’s bank records – including direct access to bank accounts for electronic fund transfers.
